Responsibilities

Our Avondale Collision Center & Repair Repair Planner (blueprinter) position is to maximize compliant OEM and Insurance Company hours and profit on each repair and increase production and efficiency amongst technicians and estimators by allowing them to stay focused on the key activities that impact their specific job role and Avondale clients. This position also focuses on relationship building and collaboration with Avondale Members and Collision Center insurance partners, resulting in improved experiences for those involved.

 

The Blue Printer is responsible for writing full OEM and Insurance compliant estimates, assisting the repair process post-vehicle teardown and ensuring quality supplemental repairs are provided in a timely manner, with great accuracy

 

Write Estimates & Supplements: Reviews vehicle damage and write quality estimates using Avondale systems and processes; Write supplement based on discoveries

 

Avondale Blue Printer planners go line by line on every single supplement with the adjuster and will confirm they have an agreement to proceed with supplemental repairs

 

Create precise repair plans for production management

 

Review all data/OEM procedures for/with Body Technicians as needed/required

 

File Reconciliation: Ensure Repair Order is complete, accurate and follows all insurance / state regulated guidelines, standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance

 

Collaborate with Parts Managers to source, order and track parts: Communicate with Parts Managers to ensure correct parts are ordered in a timely manner

 

Assist with Production Management: Monitor and update repair plan vehicles as they move through production phases to ensure roadblocks are addressed efficiently as to not to effect overall throughput/cycle time of the repair cycle

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Minimum of 2 years of experience writing collision estimates and managing in a fast-paced environment


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)
Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable).


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
